Before I start this piece, lest some don't understand, I do believe that the earth is constantly changing in temperature. It has, since the beginning of the planet, and will continue until it ends when the sun implodes as it dies.
What I do not believe to be the case is that man, our hairless ape species, has any impact on the temperature whatever. It is extreme arrogance or rather ludditism to believe that human development has anything but a minor impact on the organism that is earth.
What really irks me is the behaviour of those who believe in man-made climate change and their vicious attempts to quell all debate, paint sceptics as heretics and destroy careers. Nonetheless there are people who continue to question the concensus.
The director of the Great Global Warming Swindle responds to his critics and wonders why their attacks on the documentary were so feeble.
I would guess they were feeble because the facts presented in the program were pretty much overwhelming in their factual nature. If the envirofascists weren't worried about the facts therein why would they have tried to get it pulled? Martin Durkin struck a clear and decisive blow against the global warming zealots and exposed them for what they truly are...anti-globalists/capitalists who do not want the poor in the third world to get our of their lot in life.
Oh and recycling taxes are a load of rubbish. Reuters is sneering at a bunch of climate scientists who are heretics sceptical. Yet another MIT prof. comes out against the hysteria saying "its not based on science."
The consensus used to be that the earth was the centre of the universe and to say it wasn't was blasphemy. Men were burnt at the stake, tortured and ruined for daring to express this idea that is factually accurate. A climate of consensus that does not allow for healthy debate is dangerous.
The global warming hysteria is perpetrated by those who are anti-development, anti-globalisation and anti-capitalist. The media helps things along because they love any sort of panic, whether actual or fictional. |

| the fact that in my country, that has a temperate climate, is sunny when it's suppose to be snowing it's not a myth, it's an evidente change. somebody said that it's prezumtious to belive that men can actually change the climate. totally false! yes, one man can't change it, but 7 bilions and the consequences of their actions deffinetly can! just think of all those cars and big cities and factories and poluted air that we breathe, poluted water that we drink and the list continues...earth is not imortal! so stop kidding yourselfs because ignoring the problem is not going to solve it. and for all the sceptics out there remember: all myths start from something true! |

| I never denied that global warming existed just that it was not man-made. Its nice to see that my opponents are capable of rational debate. |

Those who are so adamant that the global warming is man-made should question themselves: where did you get that information? Media, the government, etc. Of course, those institutions are to be trusted, why not? However, I suggest you do some independent research and form your own opinion. Or at least watch the BBC program on the topic, their explanations are clear. Before calling others irresponsible or better yet questioning one’s intelligence, hear the both sides. Global warming became such a massive industry involving enormous amounts money – to be honest, I don't think we will ever see any change of opinion in the near future. Meanwhile, I still recommend investing some time on enquiries. World temperature changes over course of time, it's natural and nothing unheard of. Not so far in the past there was a fear of "ice age" and, personally, I find it ironic. However, it is just my opinion and I will not waste my time on repeating facts that others voiced so much more con ... |

| Mate i totally agree with you. Its all about africa, they don't want them to product. World temperature is all about sun, when sun ray is strong we have worm climate and vice versa. CO2 doesn't have influence on climate at all. There were periods when CO2 was 10 times more then we have it now and climate was very cold. Scientists compared CO2 and world temperature and they didn't match, when CO2 was growing climate was going colder and they had verdict that it was all about sun. So chill out people. |
